Does my child have to be on the Autism spectrum to participate?
At least one child in the family must be on the Autism spectrum. Parents and siblings are welcome and encouraged to join in on the fun.
Is there an age limitation for the PXL's PLACE program?
We can teach kids 6 yrs and up, but age and other limitations may mean that they need more help. In these cases, we ask parents to stay and participate with their child in order to support their needs, and allow them to determine if our PXL’s PLACE program is suitable for their child.
My child is non-verbal/can't read. Can they still participate?
Of course, but again, we ask that a parent stay and participate with their child in order to support their specific needs, and ensure the best chance for a fun and positive experience.
